2009 Land O Lakes Little League Board Elections

In your email use the subject line ‘2009 Elections’. Please submit a brief written statement of your volunteer qualifications and background, and what you anticipate your role of contribution would be. Please indicate if you plan to be a manager or coach for the upcoming year as the number of managers and coaches shall not exceed a minority of the total board members, per Little League rules.

Currently there are nine slots available for managers/coaches.  We are looking for people who have TIME TO DEVOTE TO THIS, relevant experience, and a commitment to help the League as a whole. Please keep in mind that a position on the Board of Directors will require several hours a week commitment during the fall and spring seasons for a one year period beginning August 1st 2009.

Emails received after Thursday, May 7th, 2009 WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Land O’ Lakes Little League is for our community, and this election process will ensure that our community is fairly represented and endorsed. It is important that you take the time to both vote and to consider now whether or not you are willing and able to participate as a Board Member and have something you can contribute to the continued successful functioning of our League.  There will be a brief meeting for all candidates on Thursday evening, May 7, 2009, at 7:00pm at the concession stand at the north fields.

The election will take place on Saturday May 9th 2009 at the north fields from 9:00am until 7:00pm.   You will be allowed one vote per family. Please bring photo ID.
